Post Malone’s new album is smashing streaming records
According to Spotify, the rapper’s sophomore studio effort has smashed the record for the most streams of the songs on an album in the U.S, with the 18 tracks being played almost 48 million times (precisely 47,930,039).
The figure gets even bigger on a global scale,with the record achieving 78,744,748 plays across the world on its first day of release.

At present, ‘Beerbongs & Bentleys’ cut ‘Rockstar’ has also secured a staggering 970 million plays, with the whole record expected to bag the top spot on the Billboard 200, giving Post his first US No.1 album.
Despite the huge reaction, NME’s official verdict described the record as “directionless”.
