There’s a good chance Hon Hai Precision Industry went into making parts of how you’re reading this right now. Or, perhaps, how you scrolled through Facebook or Twitter earlier. The electronics manufacturing company, based in Taiwan, makes Apple iPhones, iPads, iPods, Blackberry, Amazon’s Kindle, Sony Playstation 3 and 4, Microsoft’s Xbox One, Nintendo 3DS, and Nokia devices. It’s the largest electronics manufacturer with the world, but that doesn’t make it indestructible. Hon Hai, which is listed as Foxconn, has had a rough year on the stock market. Despite the market drop, Hon Hai rose three spots on the Global 500.
