Owned by the People’s Republic of China, China State Construction Engineering is one of the largest construction companies in the world. This year, the company began work building the largest building in Africa. It’s also working with Egyptian leaders on its effort to build Egypt’s new capital, a move intended to relieve congestion in Cairo. In addition to continuing its work on numerous large-scale construction projects, China State Construction Engineering also delivered a plan to cut debt in the next two years, part of China’s larger goal to lower debt in among state-owned companies.
