The American retailer of women’s clothing running under the name Dressbarn also owns Maurices, Justice, Lane Bryant, and Catherines stores and is also the parent company of Ann, Inc. which operates Ann Taylor and Loft stores. The company first started to provide women with wear-to-work clothes in 1962, at a time when women in the U.S. were first entering the workforce.
