Poll – What are your favourite types of historic buildings to shoot?
Take part in this week's poll.
Quite often when we think of photographing historic buildings, we end up picturing the classic (but rather endless) ruined abbeys and castles we’re so familiar with after years seeing the front of tourism brochures – but there’s plenty more out there when it comes to heritage building shoots.
For example, working churches and cathedrals can provide an interesting intersection between the ancient and the living and working people inhabiting them. On the other hand, grand town houses are a great opportunity to shoot classic buildings in a more unusual setting than fields, the urban sprawl.
What’s your favourite type of historic building to shoot? Let us know.
